From October 31st to November 1st, the EU Erasmus + SHYFTE international exchange conference was successfully held in CUIT. CUIT and Chengdu University are the only two Chinese universities participating in the EU Erasmus + SHYFTE project this year.
Hosted by Chengdu University, and the two-days venue was held in the Hangkonggang Campus of CUIT.Sixteen experts from France, Italy, Portugal, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries were invited to discuss how universities in various countries should respond to the needs of industry 4.0, carrying out researches on talent training mode in four fields, including software engineering, big data, wireless network and artificial intelligence, and provide suggestions for universities to output higher quality talents.
He Jianxin, Vice president of the CUIT, He Jia, Director of the International Office and Tang Dan, Dean of the School of Software Engineering attended the conference. Actively participating in the SHYFTE project will effectively promote the construction of relevant majors in CUIT, build a good international platform in academic research and talent training and cultivate high-quality application-oriented talents with a more international perspective to meet the needs of Made in China 2025.
After the conference, the experts visited the laboratory of the School of Software Engineering and made further exchanges on the follow-up cooperation.
