In order to promote the work of engineering education professional accreditation, continuously deepen the education and teaching reform, and continuously accelerate the connotative development of the profession, on December 28, 2021, the full-time teachers of the Department of Meteorological and Spatial Information Engineering held a meeting on the revision of the 2024version of talent training program in conference room B505 of Xinda Building.

    At the meeting, He Lei, head of the department, firstly explained the first stage of work to support the revision of the training program, i.e. research on the demand for professional talents, visits to relevant colleges and enterprises, interviews and questionnaires for students and professional teachers, etc., in order to form the first draft of the 2022 version of the training program. He pointed out that for the first draft of the training program, it is necessary to collect opinions from students, peers inside and outside the university, experts from enterprises, etc., and review, prove and discuss, and there is a process of multiple iterations from the old version to the new version. After that, he introduced the current revision of the training program and emphasized that the ultimate goal of the professional training is "to cultivate senior complex and application-oriented talents with strong programming ability who can engage in information technology in the field of space information".

   All the plans and work arrangements of the meeting deeply implemented the core concepts of "student-centered", "output-oriented" and "continuous improvement" of engineering education accreditation. The participants expressed that they would try their best to do the current work and take every step of engineering education accreditation steadily.
