On May 12, 2024, the 2024 China College Programming Contest National Invitational Competition (Zhengzhou) and the Sixth Henan Province CCPC College Programming Contest were successfully held at Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. The competition was held under the system of 3-player team, and 442 teams from more than 150 colleges and universities, such as Shandong University, Tongji University, Beijing Institute of Technology, etc. took part in the competition.

After the on-campus selection, our school sent two teams from the School of Software Engineering and the School of Computer Science, totaling six players. After 5 hours of intense competition, 43 national gold awards, 86 silver awards, and 129 bronze awards were selected from all the participating teams. The two teams sent by our university won one gold award and one silver award, once again demonstrating the competitive spirit of students from Chengdu University of Information Technology in the high-level China University Student Programming Contest.

By participating in this competition, students not only improve their algorithm design ability and cultivates team cooperation consciousness, but also enhance their ability to solve practical problems by using computer technology, thereby increasing their employment competitiveness.
