On 10th May, 2024, Li Yuqiong, deputy secretary of the Party and Work Committee of Sichuan Mianyang Industrial Park, and her delegation arrived at the School of Software Engineering for exchanges. The meeting was held in B505, Xinda Building, with President Tang Dan presiding over the meeting.

Dean Tang Dan first introduced the basic situation of the School of Software Engineering from four aspects: talent training, scientific research projects, integration of industry, academia and research, and the development of the School. Deputy Secretary Li Yuqiong introduced the basic situation of Mianyang Industrial Park and the current focus of the work, and explained the mode of cooperation between the industrial park and universities and policy matching.

Xu Yuanping, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of the school, made a project introduction and technology sharing on behalf of the Sichuan Provincial Informatisation Application Support Software Engineering Technology Research Centre. After listening to the presentation, Deputy Secretary Li Yuqiong expressed her expectation for more in-depth cooperation and communication with Chengdu University of Information Engineering in the future, and made efforts to help the development of domestic industrial software.
