With the ponds full of lotus flowers, the School of Software Engineering officially started its orientation for new students on August 31. Volunteers welcomed the 2024 freshmen from all corners of the country with enthusiasm.

To ensure the freshmen registered smoothly, our school set up registration points at the main entrance of the school, under the Xinda building, and on the fifth floor to provide guidance for the freshmen and help complete various procedures.

Ms. Qi Wenqin and Mr. Zhang Cheng, counselors for the 2024 freshmen, along with the other faculty members and the volunteers, arrived early at the college's freshmen registration area to welcome the 2024 new students. Ma Yihua, the Party Secretary of the school, Tong Qiang, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Wei Wei, the Vice Dean, visited the volunteer service points at the school gate and the freshmen registration office. They communicated with the new students, encouraging them to quickly adapt to their new stage of study and life and to pursue their dreams unswervingly and passionately.

Welcoming the freshmen with fresh beginnings marks the start of a new journey. As the dawn of the new semester rises, the 2024 freshmen of the School of Software Engineering will set sail in this ocean of dreams, riding the steed of software, and driving the jade dragon of innovation, embarking on their journey toward a bright and glorious future!
