On May 12, 2024, the 2024 China Collegiate Programming Contest National Invitational (Zhengzhou) and the 6th Henan Province CCPC Collegiate Programming Contest were successfully held at Zhengzhou University of Light Industry. The competition followed a three-person team format, with 442 teams from over 150 universities, including Shandong University, Tongji University, and Beijing Institute of Technology, participating.
After an internal selection process, our university sent two teams composed of six students from the School of Software Engineering and the School of Computer Science. After five hours of intense competition, a total of 43 national gold medals, 86 silver medals, and 129 bronze medals were awarded among all participating teams. Our two teams achieved outstanding results, winning one gold medal and one silver medal, once again showcasing the competitive skills of students from our university in this high-level programming contest.
Participation in this competition not only enhanced students' algorithm design skills and fostered a sense of teamwork but also improved their ability to solve real-world problems using computer technology, thereby boosting their employability.
