On 27 May 2025, at the invitation of the School of Software Engineering, Professor Yacine Ouzrout and Professor Aicha Sekhari Seklouli from the DISP Laboratory of Lumière University Lyon 2 visited our university for academic exchange and lectures.

Professor Ouzrout, an expert in supply chain and product lifecycle management, delivered a talk on “Digital Twins: Concepts, Frameworks and Standards”, introducing recent progress in digital twin technology and outlining its key concepts, technical frameworks, standardisation efforts and the enabling role of artificial intelligence.

Professor Sekhari Seklouli presented the application of AI and machine learning across the supply chain and product lifecycle, and introduced trustworthy traceability and dynamic decision support systems. She also provided an overview of the French higher education system, procedures for studying in France and the advantages of French universities for international students.

Following the presentations, faculty and students engaged in active discussion with the two professors, further strengthening cooperation in digital twins, artificial intelligence and related interdisciplinary research.
