CUIT Holds International Seminar on Quantum Dynamics-Based Optimization for Complex Equipment
2025-10-27 16:08

On 24 October 2025, the School of Software Engineering at Chengdu University of Information Technology (CUIT) held an international academic seminar entitled “Geometrical Accuracy Analysis and Optimization Methods of Complex Equipment Based on Quantum Dynamics Optimization Algorithms” in Room B505, Xinda Building, Hangkonggang Campus. Professor Feng Gao from the University of Huddersfield (UK) was invited as the keynote expert.

A total of 22 CUIT participants attended, including 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 2 lecturers and 17 master’s students. The seminar focused on key issues such as multi-source error propagation and coupling mechanisms, non-uniform three-dimensional tolerance chains, and high-precision measurement and error compensation. Drawing on Professor Gao’s experience in instrument calibration, error compensation models and uncertainty analysis, both sides discussed targeted solutions to current modelling bottlenecks and ways to improve geometrical accuracy evaluation.

The seminar also clarified plans for resource sharing, including access to measurement equipment parameters and historical error data from the UK side, and software prototype progress updates from the Chinese team. Building on existing cooperation in ISO GPS standards, the two sides explored how future research outputs could better align with international standards and enhance China’s voice in complex equipment geometrical accuracy standards.
